Department of B Planning

Bachelor of plarining is the academic degree for undergraduate courses that train students in various helds related to urban human settlements such as designing, engineering, managing and overcoming challenges. The degree primarily focuses on environmental issues and its objective is sustainable development and managing natural resources. Bachelor of planning course is an undergraduate Architecture and Planning Degree course in India for four years. This programme is specifically designed to know the importance of environmental management and sustainable development Bachelor of planning is a subsidiary of engineering, however, it is induced with the environmental management human resource preservation and development.

The study of planning enhance the students with certain skills like designing, numeracy, sketching and computer-aided designing. It also strengthens students communication and writing skills as well as versatility and flexibility in dealing with an unforeseen situation. The study of bachelor of planning enables the students to think logically and solve problems analytically Sustainable development and management of the human population is one of the major tasks in today’s world. The study centred around computer-aided designing, art & advanced visual communication, water supply and sanitation energy-efficient design, modular coordination, metropolitan planning, infrastructure planning and system management

Department of M Planning

Master of Planning (M.Plan) is a postgraduate level course that can be completed in two years. The course is offered to help the candidates design, formulate and execute plans for sustainable urban environmental and technological development

The two years programme will lead the stucent to be awarded with an M. Plan degree. The course is covered under various specialisations like environmental planning, housing, regional planning. transport planning, urban planning to name a few, In India, there are numerous govemment and private Colleges/ Institutes that offer M Plan degree programmes. A set of procedures is followed by an individual institute to complete the admission process for the M Plan degree programme. The minimum qualification to apply for M.Plan course is a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Master of Planning Eligibility Criteria

Minimum eligibility criteria to be considered for admission in M.Pian courses at various universities is as follows

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant areas of studies like Bachelor of Architecture/ Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)/ Bachelor of Planning Candidates who hold a postgraduate degree in Geography/ Economics/ Sociology are also considered for admission to some colleges,

Minimum % that a student must hold at an unidergraduate level must be 55%. The candidate must hold a Senior Secondary School Certificate with at least 50%

M.Plan Admission Process

The admission process in the Master’s of Planning (M Plan) course may vary from College to College. Here are the guidelines to help you apply for M Plan course at various colleges in India Most of the Universities/ Institutes/ Colleges release the online application form for M Plan admission on specified dates. The candidate must fill in the online application and submit the

same by the deadline date. Applicants who have qualified GATE examinations are considered for admission in most of the Colleges/ Institutes/ Universities

Some Colleges/Institutes/ Universities conduct their own aptitude test after the application of the candidate is shortlisted

M.Plan Course Fee

M.Plan Course fees vary college- wise. The range for M Pian course is between INR 1 lakh to INR 4 lakh per annum
